DC UPS has no frequency problem, so there is no problem of high frequency and power frequency. DC UPS must be modular, but now the synchronization problems and circulation problems of modular UPS basically do not exist in DC UPS. There is no technical bottleneck for unlimited paralleling of DC machines, at least theoretically feasible. The practical application of DC UPS has also made great progress. In developed countries abroad, large-scale DC power supply has been successfully used in computer rooms. After continuous exploration by scientists and engineers in our country, the pilot work has also achieved great success. The prospect of DC UPS power supply is infinitely broad. The main problems encountered in the current promotion are: ① People's concept problems. Most of the existing IT equipments that DC power supply requires dedicated DC IT equipment. Practice has proved that as long as the right DC voltage is selected, most of the existing IT equipment can operate stably in a DC environment without any modification. ② Standards and norms issues. In the absence of corresponding standards and specifications, DC power supply can only stay in the experimental and pilot phases, standardized design and construction transformation cannot be carried out, and application work is difficult to promote face to face. ③Product quality and brand issues. Having technical advantages does not mean having product advantages. However, if DC UPS products are launched and the quality is not guaranteed, people will easily confuse product problems with technical problems, thereby weakening the technical advantages of DC power supply and hindering the promotion of DC power supply. The development of technology is advancing in a spiral. DC power supply technology currently has great technical advantages over AC, but it is not static. Just like modular UPS, a few years ago, because it can maintain a high load rate, it has great technical advantages for tower UPS in terms of power efficiency. However, with the development of UPS hibernation technology, the load rate of tower UPS can be maintained to a high level, and the advantages of modular UPS efficiency are not obvious. DC power supply technology should seize the large development opportunity of the country's energy conservation and low-carbon emission reduction, and the development of insufficient customer service should be accelerated.
